Finally, some food!

"Because it's the humans' old words for it." she shrugged. "And we're supposed to blend in, after all."

"I suppose that is true." He shook his head. "Still, don't see why they have another word for the same thing. It makes no sense, at all."

"Because most humans don't like to refer to themselves as animals, I guess. They want different words for all their stuff."

"Hmm.... I see, from what I've heard until now these humans do seem to be rather arrogant." He said, shaking his head. "Saying you're not what you really are and insisting on using different words to uphold that view."

"Apparently, in the days past, before Gaia changed the world for better, they thought themselves smarter and completely different. The only ones with real emotions and intelligence." she huffed. "So yeah, they were arrogant. Way more than the wolves are." she grinned, even as Kakashi glared at her. "Aww, c'mon, you know you're not as bad as you used to be." she patted his shoulder in comfort.

He laughed a bit. "Oh that was a good one, but ah well, have the human really changed that much since back then?"

"They have, actually. Most don't remember what happened back then, most do not care for history. But as of now, they live more in pact with nature than they used to. They're not interested in what they used to call 'riches' before. Only the natural riches, as of now. That is, bountiful food and so on."

"Interesting. So they've come to value the same things that we do" He said. "Even if they still claim to be so very different from everything else."

She nodded. "At least, the ones I've been around, have changed like that. I don't know about the ones up high in the mountains... I've heard... Rumours." she shivered, and Kakashi's expression turned grim. "It's not just rumours, Namila. It's the truth." he told her, and sighed.

He looked at Namilia and then at Kakashi. "What is she talking about? What is with the humans in the high mountains?"

"... Dragonkin have appeared there." Kakashi sighed. "They're tempting the humans to start digging into the mountains like they did eons back. For gold and jewels..."

"Dragonkin?" He asked with a somewhat puzzled look on his face. "Where did those come from? Didn't think there were any around."

"It's suspected they rose from the volcano near the Eastern Mountains, that they might have a lair down there. But there aren't many around, no... They're as rare as our Dryads are."

"Dragonkin and dryads..." He shook his head. "Beings of stories and legends. Could imagine they are all very rare sights. With all my years in the forrest I haven't even met a dryad, and I think I've been just about everywhere in there."

"You might have seen one and never realized. If they stand still they look just like the next tree. I was lucky to see one, once. But I've heard there's even rarer species out there, disguised as the more common ones."

"That is true, I might have. And you've seen a dryad move about?" He smiled slightly. "But these rarer species... What could they be? Wouldn't personally think that as possible. "

"I've only heard legends. Of beings wielding the elements themselves..."

"Beings that can wield the power of the elements? I fnd that somewhat hard to belive... Altrough... What with dragonkins... Dryads and well... Us Skinchangers, maybe its' not too odd to consider something like that to exist.."

"If it's true, they're being to be wary of, that's for sure. They could unleash hell upon us with the wrath of the elements."

"That they indeed could... Something like that could be an extreme danger... Or they could be a boon... Depending on how you look at it."

He nodded. "Depending on their mood, they could win the war for us, or make us lose it..."

"Yep. It could have both effects on the war. I'd personally say one shouldn't mess with beings that can do stuff like that, and just leave them alone, as to not piss the royaly off."

He nodded. "Though we might have to deal with them if they're indeed there - it wouldn't srprise me if the dragonkin would try to get the fire on their side."

"Well I suppose thats true.." He shook his head. "But even then... It just doesn't seem smart to have anything to do with them at all."

"Well... Depends on how they are, I guess." he shrugged.
