Race: Taurs
Playable?: Yes. Bear in mind that they do not often leave their homeland.
Size: Noticeably large. Larger than both human and their animal part.
Speed: Depends on the species. Ask admin.
Attributes: All taurs can carry immense weights, seeing as they are constantly on all fours, and built more sturdily than their animal and human counterparts.
Physical Description: A taur is seemingly composed of the body of a large animal such as a horse, but in place of the animal's neck and head, a human torso appears. From the human waist and up, they are completely human, except for the ears, which are often those of the parent animal.
Personality: Taurs are more connected to nature than the humans. Some of them can even wield Gaia's magic, but these are few and far between. They are generally noble and gentle beings, but very territorial. They are reluctant to leave their homeland, and only does so if in extreme need or danger.
Relations: Taurs are stuck between two worlds, much like Skinchangers. Unlike Skinchangers, they can't shift between the worlds - they are continually stuck with one foot in the human world, and one in the animal world. Therefore, taurs usually stick together, as other races have trouble understanding them, the only exception being the Beastfolk.
Alignment: Taurs are naturally inclined to side with Gaia. No taur actively works against her. They might be indifferent to her, but they will never disobey Gaia's will.
Religion: Indifferent or Gaia worshippers.
Rarity (1 is common, 10 is extremely rare): 6
Anatomy: Taurs are special beings. They have, in a sense, two bodies that are 'merged' together, which means they have two spines and two sets of organs as well. The upper spine is in the human torso, while the lower spine is in the animal body. In the human torso, only a few organs reside - a minor heart, a minor set of lungs(fueling speech), and a minor stomach. In the lower, animal body, the main lungs (fueling roars and other animalistic noises), the main heart, main stomach, and all other organs, reside. This double system makes taurs all the more harder to kill than ordinary animals or humans.
